Trust leaders and trustees are passionate about the vision and purpose of the Laurel Education Trust. This can best be shown through the ‘Cells’ of the Trust – the very reason that we lead and learn, and the make-up of who we collectively are.

Collaboration. It is widely known that when we collaborate effectively with expert and knowledgeable like-minded professionals we achieve much more than the sum of our parts. We believe in the sharing of resources, the power of lively discussion and great networking opportunities school-to-school.
Excellence. At the heart of the Trust is the moral imperative to ensure that every young person, in each Trust school, receives an excellent education. This is our driver and our commitment.
Leadership. Being a leader in education is a joy, a great privilege and an immense responsibility. Within the Laurel Education Trust, we speak of the notion of a ‘calling’ and we invite all Trust staff to recognise themselves as leaders.
Learning. Recognising that we are all learners, the Laurel Education Trust prioritises a community of professional development and learning: one in which we are excited to discuss teaching and learning, current research, pedagogy and, most importantly, the wonderful young people we serve.
Support. Every person thrives within a supportive culture and ethos, and our Trust exists to be instrumental in creating positive and supportive environments at a classroom, school, community and wider Trust level.
