As we look back on 2025, it’s clear that it was a year of momentum and purpose. Throughout the year, many exciting ideas and plans were taking shape as we worked towards the launch of the Laurel Education Trust.
Central to this progress has been the strong partnership between Simon Balle All-through School and Mill Mead Primary School. Working together has shown the real strength of collaboration, shared values and a collective commitment to doing the very best for our children and young people. Our vision for the Laurel Education Trust is simple and ambitious: to provide the young people in our communities with an excellent quality of education. We believe deeply that there is no tension between the highest academic expectations and rich, meaningful enrichment opportunities. In fact, we see them as complementary and essential.
2025 laid the foundations for what comes next, and we look ahead with confidence and commitment to the journey ahead.
